There are some pretty decent and surprisingly inexpensive pizza ovens on the market today.
This is one from the mid price range, it is called the Castmaster pizza oven.
I have to say it has received excellent reviews and is one of the better looking ones I have come across.
Cheaper ones are made from steel, this one however is made from solid cast iron.
This of course is not just a pizza oven. If you remove the large chimney area above the fire door it becomes an open top BBQ.
The flap where the sun design is shown drops down to reveal the pizza oven. These ovens can cook pizzas up to about 13 inches in size.
Some of the cheaper pizza ovens do offer bigger pizza cooking compartments and even have temperature control and gauges, the Castmaster pizza oven does not.
I will say that if you want a cheap alternative to this oven then the La Hacienda is good. I have to state that it does not look as good as this one though.
The Castmaster is really is a good useful piece of garden furniture. You really do get three different uses out of one of these.
You can use them as garden or patio heaters, pizza ovens and BBQ. So it is good value for money and if you dine alfresco a lot then it will get lots of use.
